What should I think about when selecting a facility?
Do I need to make an appointment to view the facility?
There is no requirement to make an appointment to view a facility. It is often reassuring for prospective residents to “pop in” unannounced. You can always make a follow up appointment to meet someone and have any specific questions answered.
What are the benefits of going on to a waiting list if there is no space?
There are two reasons to go on a waiting list. Firstly, you may not be ready. Secondly, the Unit may not have space. There is no obligation to you, you can say no to the offer of a place and remain at the top of the waiting list.
